SPARKS, OLLIE MARIE - age 82, of Knoxville, died peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2011. She was of the Baptist faith. She was born Ollie Marie Davis on April 7, 1929 in Ridgeway, Kentucky to Frank and Nora (Butcher) Davis. Ollie was preceded in death by her mother, Nora B. Huffaker; father, Frank Dutch Davis sister, Edith Flora Clapp; and brother, Frank Davis, Jr.; father. She is survived by her children Sherry Marie Sparks-Wagers and husband Gordon; Ronnie Eugene Sparks and wife Lisa; and Shelia Darlene Sparks; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to David, Jenny, Rosa, and Lisa, First Floor Staff at Hillcrest North for their love and devoted care. Also, a special thanks to her granddaughter Jenny Harper and daughter-in-law Lisa Sparks for their devotion and care. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM, Rev. Danny Powell officiating. Family and friends will meet at Henry's Crossroads Cemetery in Kodak on Friday at 11:00 AM for interment services. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
