Grizzle, William Mack age 78 of West Knoxville passed away February 8, 2012 at Park West Medical Center. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Anchorage, Alaska. He retired from Knoxville Utilities Board and a member of Central Baptist Church-Bearden. Preceded in death by his parents William Edward and Hattie Farmer Grizzle; brother Robert Edward Grizzle; brother Tilford C. Grizzle and sister-in-law Maude Moore Grizzle; sister Edith Parrott and precious niece Nancy Parrott Hill; father-in-law and mother-in-law Gilbert and Ella Mae Kidd Van Hoozier. He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 48 years; Glena Carol Van Hoozier Grizzle; two precious children in his life, Megan and Matthew Morton and their parents Kim and Paul Morton of Knoxville, TN; great nephews Duane Hill and Darrell Hill and wife Lori; great niece, Charlene Hill Bailey and husband Brent; special relative Rev. Harrison Hill; eight great-great nephews and one great-great niece, all of Maryville, TN; nephew Gary Grizzle and wife Kathye, New Market, TN; nieces Virginia Nipper and Harriet Hartman, Knoxville, TN; special friend, Robert (Bob) Hubbs, Maryville, TN; special thanks to Chad and Jessica Lange. The family will receive friends Friday, February 10, 2012 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Highland Memorial Funeral Home. Entombment services will be conducted Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Highland West Funeral Home with Reverend Harrison Hill officiating services.
