VIRGINIA GRAY "JENNIE" DENTON, age 75, of White Pine, TN passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008. She was born October 19, 1932, the daughter of the late Lewis and Imogene Gray. Preceded in death by husband, Floyd Denton (1970); and sister, Betty Taylor. She was a member of the Bridges Chapel Church and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and was a devoted homemaker. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (James) Cox of Knoxville, and Evelyn (Larry) Rines of White Pine; grandchildren, Melissa (Jammie) Church, Carrie (Jeremy) Hall, Rebecca Shea Rines and Leah Rines; great-grandchildren, Kesleah Hall, Aubrey Church, Allie Rines, Haylee Rines and Kaydee Rines; sister, Charlene Ramsey; brother, Roy (Wanda) Gray; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2008 from the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Reverend Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Interment graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at Fox Cemetery in Sevier County. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service.
