Bryants celebrate 50th anniversary Johnny and Linda (White) Bryant, of Maryville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party given by their daughters Aug. 30 at their home on Peach Orchard Road. The couple were married Sept. 6, 1958, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Maryville. The Rev. Carl White, Mrs. Bryant's father, officiated. Their family includes children Mrs. Tony (Cindy) Norris, of Maryville, Traci Bryant-Riches and husband Alan, of Elgin, S.C., and the late Jackie Dale Bryant. They have one grandchild. Mr. Bryant is retired from Hitch & Carpenter TV Service. Mrs. Bryant is retired from Maryville City Schools. The couple attend Hillcrest Baptist Church, where Mrs. Bryant's father is pastor.
