Blazier, William Randolph “Randy”, also known by his family as “Dockey” –died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, September 12, 2006. Retired from Knox County Schools Maintenance Department and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He graduated from Young High School and played on the football team. Preceded in death by mother and father, Trula Jane Julian Blazier and John Elder Blazier, Sr.; brother, John Elder Blazier, Jr.
Survivors
Survivors include brother, Mayford Blazier and wife, Mary; son, Timothy Ray Anderson; sister-in-law, Bernice Keeble Blazier; nephews and nieces, Donald Eugene Blazier; Diane Kay Brewer and husband, Jim; Terrell Lynn Blazier and wife, Linda; Sheila Gail Blazier, Carolyn Jean Suttles; Sharon Rosejane Baxter; several great-nieces and nephews; several great-great nieces and nephews; very special friend, Annette Bazzell; lots of special friends.
Service
Family and friends will meet at Hendrons Chapel Cemetery on Friday for 11 AM graveside services, Rev. Arnold King officiating. Pallbearers will be Patrick Baxter; Brandon White; James Brewer; Alan Branch; Mack Rose and Benny Snyder. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
