CLARK, MICHAEL LYNN "LAME LOUIE"- age 51, of Knoxville, departed this life, Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center after an extended illness. Preceded in death by parents, Willie Pearl and Garland (Dean) Simpson; brother, Jeffery Simpson. Survivors, son, Brandon Howard, California; sisters, Alice (Jerry) Cantrell, Shirley (Willie) Eleazer, and Jacqueline "Jackie" Evans; brothers, Dwight (Shirley Clark, Don Henley, and Jeffery (Bo) Simpson, all of Knoxville; aunts, Annie Farr, Alcoa, TN; Lucille Treece, Wilmington, Delaware; and Vivian Smith, Knoxville; uncle, Howard Stokes, Morristown, TN and many nieces, nephews, and devoted friends, Loretta Page and Marvin Ellison. Special thanks to the Jefferson City Rehabilitation Center and the nurses on the 4th and 5th floors at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Family will receive friends, 6:00-6:30 p.m., Monday at Community Evangelistic Evangelica Presbyterian Church, 2650 Boyd's Bridge Pike; funeral service, 6:30 p.m., Elder Reginald Strong, officiating. Interment 12:00 noon, Monday, September 11, 2007 at Gillette Cemetery, Strawberry Plains, TN. Arrangements by Jarnigan & Son Mortuary.
