OBITUARY:
LIDA D. HURST, age 87, of Dandridge, TN passed away Thursday, August 23, 2007. She was born April 25, 1920, the daughter of the late Jasper and Flora Byrd Shrader. She was a member of the Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Rella Hurst in 1998. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jim And Gail Estes, Bill and Linda Estes; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dana Spath, Karen and Terry Hodge; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; brother, James D. Shrader; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2007 from the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Reverend Mark Hicks officiating. Interment graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2007 at Swanns Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
