He preached God’s word for 54 years and was retired from Toms Potato Chip Company. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Mary Murr; sisters, Imogene Kerr and Irene Costner; brother, Walter Murr. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Blair Murr; sons and daughters-in-laws, Ricky and Nora Beth Murr, Graig and Janice Murr, Freddie and Marilyn Murr, Tim and Patricia Murr; daughter and son-in-law, Marcetia and Jimmy Gann; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Riverview Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday. Their family includes children Ricky, Marcie, Craig, Freddie Jr. and Tim. They have 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Mr. Murr is retired from Tom’s Food and has been a minister for 50 years. Mrs. Murr is a homemaker. They are members of Riverview Baptist Church.
