Dorothy Arrowood Sizemore, age 78, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday evening, May 17, 2009. Dorothy was a member of Hines Valley Baptist Church. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Dorothy was an avid homemaker, gardener and loved flowers. Her parents, Ashley and Rosa Prater Arrowood; sister, Juanita Skelton, Opal Morgan and Pauline Arrowood; brothers, Ashley (Sump) Arrowood, Bill Arrowood and Mickey Arrowood, preceded her in death. Dorothy is survived by her husband, of 57 years, Allen Sizemore Jr.; children, Karen Johnson and husband Warren, Terri Lea Thomas, Rosie Johnson and husband D.J., Allen Sizemore III all of Knoxville; 7 grandchildren, Sherry Frazier, Stacy Johnson, Allen Sizemore IV, Michelle Mason, Jeremiah Johnson, Tiffany Thomas and Stephanie Thomas; 4 great grandchildren, Hannah Thomas, Caroline and Claire Frazier, Allen (Buddy) Sizemore V; sisters, Joyce Walker and Jean Davis; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Tuesday followed by funeral services at 8 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Rev. Allen Williams officiating. Family and friends will gather at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for graveside services. Serving as pallbearers: Warren Johnson, D.J. Johnson, Allen Sizemore IV, Jeremiah Johnson, Dave Frazier and Allen Mason.
