RAMSEY , ISHMEAL C. (ISH) - age 73, of Rutledge, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at home, after a brief illness. He was a member of Tampico Baptist Church, a retired heavy equipment operator, and a member of the Operating Engineers Local 917 for 43 years. Preceded in death by parents, Elijah and Ellie Ramsey brother, Clay Ramsey sisters, Elsie Ramsey and Zelma Lindsay son-in-law, Paul Watson and great-granddaughter, Kelsey Walker, all of Rutledge. Survived by Paralee Ramsey , loving wife of 54 years brother, Ray Ramsey and sister, Ernabe Hayes son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Tammy Ramsey daughters and son-in-law, Nita and Dave Lange, Linda Watson, Brenda and Donnie Hayes, and Elaine and Jerry Joyce eight grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of Rutledge, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2003, in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Collins and Rev. Bobby Myers officiating. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2003, in Tampico Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service. Pallbearers are David Bean, Rick Bean, Sonny Sharp, Gary Bradley, David Stalsworth, and Ernest Ramsey . Honorary Pallbearers are grandsons and Cliff Ramsey .
