Clara Cecelia Handly, of Louisville, daughter of Sharon Ownby Handly, of Louisville, and Herbert Madden Handly, of Sevierville, was united in marriage with Thomas Brock Toomey, of Knoxville, son of Lori Mason Harris, of Knoxville, and Michael Brock Toomey, of Oak Ridge, at 6:30 p.m. June 1 at Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Mark Lampley officiated.
Amy Nipper McGee, of Knoxville, was matron of honor and Kara Sweisthal, of Columbia, S.C., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Roseberry, of Louisville, and Marissa Staten.
Flower girls were Katherine Siler and Bailey Turnage.
Kyle Simonton, of Knoxville, was best man. Groomsmen were Brian Toomey, of Knoxville, Hunter Mason, of Sweetwater, and Rob Blackorby, of Knoxville.
A reception hosted by the parents of the bride was held at Gettysvue Country Club.
After a wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the couple are living in Knoxville.
The bride is an aesthetician for Regenerations Cosmetic Medicine.
The bridegroom is an insurance agent for Harris.
