She was a member of the Mulberry Gap United Methodist Church. She was retired after many years of service from Inman Mills of South Carolina and Bennington Pine Manufacturing of Del Rio. Although she did not have children, she enjoyed working with and teaching the children at the church and serving as a cub scout volunteer. Preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Rodgers; father and mother, Andy and Myrtle Woody Kelley; brothers, Andy Kelley, Jr. and Tom Kelley. She is survived by sisters, Lena Cogdill, Leona Cogdill and Tula Moore; brothers, Walker Kelley, Elmo Kelley, Don Kelley and Fred Kelley; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Doris Sanders. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at Leadvale Baptist Church with Reverend Charlie Harkleroad and Reverend Charles Robison officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at Leadvale Baptist Church. The body will be moved to Mulberry Gap Methodist Church on Wednesday to lie in state from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. with the interment graveside service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church cemetery.
