BOLIN, MARY RUTH - age 79, beloved wife and mother, joined her Heavenly Father on Friday, July 13, 2007. Ruth was born in Lenoir City on February 26, 1928, and moved to Mascot as a child. She attended Central High School and graduated from Draughn's Business College in Knoxville. During World War II, she was employed by Standard Knitting Mills, where Navy Pea Coats were made. After the war, she was a secretary for Post and Company, publishers of the Knoxville Journal. In 1952, she was married to Wyatt Bolin and became his lifelong partner in his military and civil service career. They lived in Fort Knox, KY and in Heidelberg, Germany, eventually retiring to Columbus, Georgia. In 1982, they moved to New Market, TN, where they lived until Mr. Bolin's death in 2004. She most recently lived with her daughter, Dr. Jill Robinson in Talbott, TN. She was associated with Panther Springs United Methodist Church in Morristown for her last ten years. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Wyatt Bolin and her parents, Maxie Ellen and George Brown. She also was preceded by infant sister, Georgie Ellen; sister, Thelma Eubanks; brother, Bill Brown; and beloved nephew, Harley Denton. She is survived by daughters, Dr. Jill Robinson and Terri Moore (Willard) all of Talbott. She leaves precious grand children and great grandchild, Jennifer Ferrell (Justin) of Knoxville, Beth Shults, (Dino) of Morristown, Ashley and Alex Robinson of Talbott and William Moore of Washington, DC and Isabella Shults of Morristown. Surviving sisters and brother in law are Margaret Hensley of Jefferson City and Laura Denton (Lloyd) of Mascot. The family expresses gratitude to Smoky Mountain Home Health, especially to Darby, Dianne, Alisha, Sharon and Bridget and to Kevin Taylor, her faithful physical therapist. We give special thanks to Sharon Davis and to Martha Orndoff both of whom have shown loving support throughout Ruth's extended illness. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Monday at Westside Chapel in Morristown. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens on Monday. Officiating will be the Rev. Garland James, who faithfully served Ruth and Wyatt's spiritual needs during the ten years they were physically unable to attend church. The Rev. Allen Jewett will direct the music for the services. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the Panther Springs United Methodist Church (Stained Glass Fund). Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Morristown.
