DUNLAP, CARL GEORGE JR. "BUTCH"- age 61 of Blaine passed away Friday, July 13, 2007, at UT Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by sister, Martha Dennis; uncle, Clarence Dunlap; and "Pop", Stan Maples. Survivors include mother, Margaret Hurst of Dandridge; companion of 19 years, Carolyn McGinnis; daughters, Carla Broyhill of Sevierville, Kathy and Greg Collins of Rutledge, Sandy and Daryl Teffeteller of Blaine, and Jamie and Larry Duss of Rutledge; step-son, Doug and Trina Chastain of Sevierville; grandchildren, Ashley and Logan Broyhill of Sevierville, Andrew Collins of Rutledge, Wesley and Macy Teffeteller of Blaine, Taylor Duss of Rutledge, and Danny and Brianne Chastain of Sevierville; brothers, Charles Dunlap of Knoxville, Dave Dunlap of Knoxville, Charlie Young of Georgia, and Dennis Young of Knoxville; sisters, Bobbie Dunlap of Dandridge, Wilma and Roy Owens of Dandridge, and Delores Nicely of Georgia; and special aunt, Blanche Dunlap. Survived also by special family, Mama "Gert" Maples, Sparky Maples, Jerry Maples, Terry Maples, Cookie Harmon, Bill Maples, Raymond Maples, Sharon Ball, Karen Ray, and Larry Maples; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be 8:00 pm Sunday, July 15, 2007, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Miller and Rev. Donny Walker officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 pm Monday at Bridges Funeral Home and go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 2:00 pm interment. Pallbearers: Chris Dunlap, Steve Eaches, Troy Hunter, Tim Jeffers, Eddie Lesuerur, B.J. Lowrey, Willie Peeden, and Ron Stanton. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 523-4999.
