Mary Elizabeth Fincher, age 85, of White Pine, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Newport Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of Leadville Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Fincher; parents, Milburn and Owa Ford; brothers, J. I. Ford and R. D. Ford. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Vicki Fincher of White Pine; sister, Rachael Kendrick of Greeneville; grandchildren, Justin Fincher of White Pine and Jennifer Fincher of Murfreesboro; special friends, ‘Becca and Rita; also several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Leadvale Missionary Baptist Church, funeral services will follow, with Pastor Charlie Harkelroad, and Jerry Fancher Charlie Robinson officiating. Burial will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, July 15, 2007 in Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gideon’s Memorial Bible Program, P.O. Box 1217, Newport, TN 37822.
