Blazier, Berniece Keeble, age 85, of Knoxville, TN was "led from Grace to Glory" with her precious Lord and Savior on Friday morning, March 2, 2012. She was born in Blount County where she was known by many family and friends as "Queet." She was a member of New Hopewell Baptist Church and formerly Fellowship Baptist Church where at both churches, she loved and taught children for many years. She retired from Knox County School Systems after seventeen years of cooking, feeding, and loving the kids at New Hopewell Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Martha C. Keeble; husband, John E. (J.E.) Blazier, Jr,; brothers: W.T. (Bill), Lloyd, Edgar, and Carl Keeble; sisters: Ellen Miller, Nora Norton, Belle Rahe, Maude Howell, Flora Russell, and Edna Lowery. She is survived by daughters Diane and husband Jim Brewer and Carolyn Suttles; grandchildren, (her pride and joy), Rebecca Johnson and fiancée, Tony Boser; Donna Jackson and husband Scott; James Suttles and fiancée Leah MacWithey; great-grandchildren: Chelse Lawson, Will Johnson, Ashley, Christopher, and Brenna Jackson; brother, Robert (Bob) Keeble; sister-in-law Jean Keeble; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Caris Hospice, especially Denise Williams, Cara Bentley, Trisha, and Chaplain Tom Biaz; also to all our NHC Fort Sanders friends and caregivers for all their care, love, and support during these five years; especially Betty Rhodes, Famata, Nakendra, and all of our wonderful nurses; also to special family caregivers Linda Donaldson and Margaret Madden for their love and care during our years at home. Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. David Gregg officiating. Family and friends will meet at New Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery on Kimberlin Heights Road Monday, March 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM for interment services. Pallbearers will be Scott Jackson, James Suttles, Tom Boser, Christopher Jackson, Will Johnson, and Raymond Boling.
