Jackie Bruce Edmondson, age 75, passed away from this life on September 15, 2015. He fought courageously with several illnesses over the past 19 years. He was born in Tazewell, TN and lived in Seymour for the past 29 years. After his military service in the US Navy he worked in the field of pest control for Cook's and Otis Pest Control. Jackie was an avid Bass fisherman and one of his favorite places was Cherokee Lake. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, UT Sports and playing cards with his friends. He cherished his hardware friends and considered his grandchildren his pride and joy. Jackie will be missed by his beloved dog Sally. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Glenda; daughter Sylvia Honeycutt; son Greg Edmondson and wife Cassie; daughter Dawn Harris; stepdaughter Leslie Black and husband Ryan; stepson Eddie Christenberry and wife Pam; grandchildren: Jessie and Daniel Honeycutt, Seth Edmondson, Evan Black, Ben Hays, and Shawna Edmondson; and sisters Peggy Borreson and Anna Ruth Bowling. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 18 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 5302 Nails Creek Rd, Maryville, TN 37804 on Saturday, September 19 at 10:00 AM for a graveside service.
