Humpston, Imogene Hutcheson, age 99 of Knoxville, died peacefully on March 11th, She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, William Gene Humpston, her brothers Doyle, Ed, and Wilson Hutchinson, and her sister Vera Holt. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jean and Richard Jenkins, granddaughter Patricia Weiss, granddaughter Pamela and her husband Dr. Donovan Stewart, great-granddaughters Kelsey and Allyssa Stewart and her sister Ernestine Ingle, all of Knoxville, half-sister Mary Ann Hardwick, half-brothers Jim and Tom Hutcheson, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the third floor staff of Shannondale Nursing Home for their care and kindness. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Eastern Tennessee, 200 Prosperity Drive, Knoxville TN 37923-4718. Family and friends will meet for a Graveside Service Saturday at 10:45 am at Highland Memorial Cemetery on Sutherland Avenue with Reverend Ron Mouser officiating. Friends may call at their convenience Friday from 10-5 pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
