Survivors include parents, Charlie B. and Dorothy W. Acuff of Alcoa daughter, Miranda Ruth Acuff of Maryville stepson, Tony Dunn of Hill Air Force Base, Utah brothers, Boyd K. Acuff of Alcoa, and Gordon W. and wife, Shirley Acuff of Maryville nephew, Ryan Acuff niece, Laura Acuff step nieces, Donna Sokoll, Lisa Lee, Janie Nash step great nieces, Ashley and Autumn Nash step great nephew, Cody Sokoll. Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2003, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Herman Faddis and Rev. Wayne Friday officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to: Alcoa Fire Department or Alcoa Police Department.
