ELKINS, ANNA LEE - age 62, of Andersonville, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a member of Clinton Second Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Condie and Naomi Goins Henderson; brothers, Alvis, Charles, and William Henderson; sister, Altalee Henderson. She is survived by: loving husband of 49 years, James "Jim" Elkins of Andersonville; son, James "Mitch" Elkins & wife Robin of Powell; grandchildren, Amy & Morgan Elkins of Powell; sisters, Mary Lou Wise of Clinton, Kathaleen Cardwell & husband Doyle of Clinton; brothers, Ronnie Henderson of Clinton, Jerry Henderson & wife Kathy of Clinton; sister-in-law, Frances Henderson of Clinton; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Windwood Health Care Center for their loving care given to Anna Lee while she was a patient there. The family will receive friends 12:30-1:45 pm, Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Her graveside service will follow her visitation at the Hillvale Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
