MINGIE, KENNETH MICHAEL "MIKE" - age 59 passed away Sunday August 26, 2007 at Home in Maryville. He was a Member of Bethleham Baptist Church in Knoxville; a retired school teacher and painter; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. Preceded in death by: Father, Kenneth E. Mingie. Survivors: sons, Christopher Mingie and wife April, Chad Mingie and wife Debbie; mother of Chris and Chad and special friend, Rita Mingie Whitaker; mother, Ella Dean Mingie; grandchildren, Mashayla Mingie, Zoe Mingie and Crystal Brown; brother, Dan Mingie and wife Darlene; sisters, Cheryl Brown, Sue Nuchols and husband Bob; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family & friends. Funeral Service 7:30 P.M. Tuesday Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev Louis Branch officiating. Family and friends will meet at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens 12:45 P.M. Wednesday for interment at 1:00 P.M. Pallbearers: Scott Campbell, Bill Kelley, Eric Delph, Jackie Dowling, Terry Campbell, Jody Colvin, Jerry Campbell, Ronnie Reynolds.
