Lorene was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired employee of Loudon Co. School System. Preceded in death by: husband, Luther James Scott; grandson, Jason Scott; parents, Oscar Pate and Flora Oody Key; brother, Kenneth "Buck" Key; sister, Wilma Presley. Survivors: children and spouses, Jerry and Naomi Scott, Jimmy and Carolyn Scott, Jane and Larry Lane, Faye and Kenny Everett, Nelda and Robert Estes Queener, all of Loudon; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Hill, Loudon; Thelma Bingham, Thomasville, NC; brothers, Jim Key, Parish, AL; Robert Key, Thomasville, NC, Larry Key, Monroe, GA; nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7:30 p.m. Monday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Kevin Webb and Rev. Paul White officiating. Interment 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Valley View Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7:30 p.m. Monday, Loudon Funeral Home.
