(April 26, 1916 - December 26, 2016) Mrs. Ina Watts Templin, age 100, of Newport, passed away Monday evening, December 26, 2016 at Newport Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Templin was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Templin; son Ronald Templin; grandchildren Dee Strange Shelton and Clare Strange; parents John and Martha Watts; sisters Agnes, Beulah, Georgia Mae and Myrtle. Survivors include her children Pearlie (Jimmy) Hatcher of New Market, Sue Buckner and Carol (C.A.) Strange both of Newport, Eddie Templin of Dandridge and James (Carolyn) Templin of North Carolina. Additional survivors include several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, December 28, 2016 in the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Clevenger and Rev. Ben Watts officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. interment. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home prior to the service. [S147] Find a Grave, (Memorial: 174500498).
