GIBSON, HUBERT EDWARD - 75, of 303 Dellwood Drive and husband of the late Willie Raye Reed Gibson, passed away Thursday September 16, 2010 at his home. Mr. Gibson was born in Knoxville, TN, a son of the late Vernie Edward and Estelle Wolfe Gibson. He retired from Roadway Express and was a member of the Teamsters Local 28 and the Mountain Springs Masonic Lodge where he was the Past Master. He was also a member of Siloam Baptist Church and enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. Surviving are four daughters, Janet Wardell (Larry), of Seymour, TN, Debbie Forrester (Jimmy), of Sevierville, TN, Patti Veals (Mike), of Williamston, SC and Lisa Keeler (Mike), of Easley, SC; three brothers, Bill Gibson (Brenda), of Knoxville, TN, Gene Gibson (Bobbie), of Seymour, TN and Clarence Gibson (Carolyn), of Maryville, TN; two sisters, Mayme Case, of Seymour, TN and Lucy Clark, of Knoxville, TN; six grandchildren, Michelle Middleton, April Foster, Brandy Mikels, Lorie Wardell, Chris Forrester and Max Keeler; three great-grandchildren, Katlyn Middleton, Laurel Middleton and Quinn Foster. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Boling. Funeral Services will be 7:30 PM Friday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Steve Ellis officiating. Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday in Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Friday, prior to the service, at the funeral home. The family is at the home.
