MAPLES, NORA CHRISTINE - age 74, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at her daughter's home in Blount County. She was retired from the Laundry Department of UT Hospital. Preceded in death by: her husband, Fred D. Maples; son, David Lynn Johnson; father, Obie C. Lundy and one great grandson. Survived by: her mother, Mae Inman Lundy; son, Gary R. Johnson of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Mike Russell of Walland; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; two sisters; two brothers; several sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Stoney Point Baptist Church, Rev. Randy Troutman and Rev. Charles Rose officiating. Burial to follow at the Asbury Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Fielden Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Fielden Funeral Home, New Market, in charge of arrangements for Nora Christine Maples.
