(October 27, 1926 - October 23, 2010) U.S. Veteran Howard E. Law, age 83, of Alcoa, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Mr. Law was a veteran of the US Navy serving during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of 3rd Street Baptist Church and an avid and skilled carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alene Law; sons, Ray Law and Billy Law; daughter, Patsy Law; parents, Robert and Bessie Law; and brother Bennie Law. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Karen Law; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Danny Harris; grandchildren, Travis Law, Chris Law, Shelly and David Anderson, and Daniel and Tiffany Harris; great-grandchildren, Molly, Maggie, and KayLee Anderson, and Lauren Havener; and brother, Bobby Dale Law of Stevens, Virginia. A special thank you to the staff of Colonial Hills Nursing Center and Blount Memorial Hospice.
