Delozier Grandview [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 9 Aug 2001. LAW, BENNY A., SR. - age 70, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday morning, August 8, 2001, at the family home. He was of the Baptist faith, a Veteran of the U. S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict, a 32 Degree Mason, Shriner and a Scottish Rites Member. He was also a longtime Assistant Funeral Director at Miller Funeral Home. Preceded in death by father, Robert T. Law. Survivors: wife, Elizabeth Vaughn Law; daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Dennis Hutchens of Maryville, Pamela and John Blackford, Jr. of Kearneysville, W. Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Benny A., Jr. and Brenda Law of Maryville; son, Charles Law of Maryville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; mother, Bessie Law of Maryville; brothers, Howard Law of Alcoa and Bobby Law of Stevenson, Va., and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service and entombment 3:30 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2001, at Grandview Cemetery, Rev. Carl White officiating. Full military honors will be provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
