MOORE, CLARA FAYE - age 88, of Townsend passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She attended Mt. Nebo Church in Jesus Name. Preceded in death by husband, Harrison Moore; infant son, Paul Moore; brothers, Winford & Bill Ogle; sisters, Burvil Ogle, Lois Walker, & Amanda Effler. Survivors: daughters, Jeanette Garland of Knoxville, Mary Cope, Lillie Grace Dockery, & Fay Hodge all of Townsend; & Lois Butler of Maryville; sons, Mitchell Moore of North Carolina, Moses Moore of Walland, Benjamin Moore of Townsend, David Moore of Maryville, Tim Moore of Walland, and Matthew Moore of Knoxville; 39 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews & friends. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2001 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday, at Mt. Nebo Church In Jesus Name Cemetery for the interment service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for funeral expenses. The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
