Survivors Daughter, Elizabeth and husband, Bob Sayne of Seymour; daughter, Doris and husband, Charles Miller of Mascot; son, Edward and wife, Leigh Ann Cate of Knoxville; grandchildren, Susan, Laura, Richard, Sandra, Jimmy, Nancy, Ryan, Kevin, Rachel and Megan; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Virgie Asher and Jane Smith, both of Seymour, Viola Brooks of Norris, and Lois Bowman of Beattyville, Kentucky. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the physicians and staff of Select Specialty Hospital for their loving care. Service Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery at 11:00 AM Wednesday for graveside services with Rev. Kenneth Stansberry officiating. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Knoxville Volunteer Emergency Rescue Squad, 512 N. Chilhowee Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee 37924. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
