Trenton O’Neal Best, 81 of Maryville, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a Deacon at Four Mile Baptist Church in Maryville, TN. He retired from ALCOA after 38 years and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Preceded in death by his parents, George and Sina Best; brother, Winston Best; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and J. R. Cardin.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Lois Prince Best; brother and sister-in-law, Herman and Betty Best; sister-in-law, Calberta Best; children, Steve and Kenna Best, Ted Best, and Ronnie and Linda Henderson; grandchildren, Megan and Jonathan Robinson, and Rachel, Michael, Stefanie, Anya and Aaron Best, Lisa, Dale, and Brittney Hill, Kelsey Henderson, and Chris, Tina, and Maria Wyke. He loved farming and baseball and was a loving father, grandfather, and friend and will be remembered forever.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. James “Tater” Wells and Rev. Charles Huskey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Williamson Chapel Cemetery for the interment service.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
