Best-Robinson
Megan Alliene Best, of Knoxville, daughter of Steve and Kenna Best, of Maryville, and Leigh Ann and Eddie Cate, of Knoxville, is engaged to marry Jonathan David Robinson, of Knoxville, son of David and Marsha Robinson, of Knoxville, and of Nicaragua, as missionaries, at 6 p.m. June 2 at The Historic Bleak House, Knoxville.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Trenton and Lois Best, of Maryville, Ken and Dorothy Ledbetter, of Maryville, Gloria Boyd, of Greeneville, the late J. Kyle Boyd and the late Ruby Cate.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Lawrence Robinson, of Knoxville, the late Agnes Robinson, and Bill and Hazel Simpson, of Knoxville.
The bride-to-be is a senior at Carson Newman College, majoring in music education. She is a member of Delta Omicron, A Cappella Choir and is a vocalist for Redemption. She is a former Knoxville Teen Board member. She is employed by JCPenney Company.
The bridegroom graduated Carson-Newman College May 12 with a major in church music. He is a member of Delta Omicron, A Cappella Choir and is a vocalist for Redemption. He is also a former Knoxville Teen Board member. He is employed by Lincoln Park Baptist Church.
