Funeral services were held at the Ibertson Funeral Home at 2 pm Friday for Mrs. Hugo Scharf of Okanogan, Wash., formerly Miss Nell Bailey of Bemidji, who passed away at her home in Wash. last Sunday. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery. Born Jan. 27, 1887 in S. Dakota, Nell Bailey came to Bemidji as a small child with her parents, the late Attorney and Mrs. L. H. Bailey. She graduated from high school here with one of the first groups of graduates and was married here in 1910 to Hugo Scharf at a double wedding at which Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Southworth were also united in marriage, Mrs. Southworth being a sister of Mrs. Scharf. Surviving Mrs. Scharf is her husband and a son. She was a niece of Mrs. F. S. Arnold, Miss Ida Bailey and Judge Thayer C. Bailey all of Bemidji.
