Evelyn Dyer Maryville, TN Evelyn Louise Teffeteller Dyer , 78 , went to be with the Lord on March 21 , 2016 at Vanderbilt Medical Center after a long hard fought battle against cancer. She was retired from AT &T. She was so loved by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: H. Lee and Hessie Teffeteller ; husband: Jimmy Dyer ; son: Steven Coada; sisters: Hazel Lowe, and Bernice Weaver; son-in-law: James Summers; and other family members. She is survived by daughter: Susan Summers of Knoxville; son: John Coada of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law: Teri and Steve Bivens of Maryville; grandchildren: Lynn O'Connor and Megan Cable; great granddaughter: Cassie Wilkerson; brother and sister-in-law: Arnold and Vivian Teffeteller of Maryville; and other family members. The family request in lieu of flowers donation be made to American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge: 2008 Charlotte Ave., Nashville, TN 37203. Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday March 24, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Goddard officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 A.M. Friday March 25, 2016 at the funeral home to proceed to East Maryville Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00 A.M. graveside service. The family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
