Charles Henry Ridenour was born in Cedar county, Iowa, April 26th, 1870, departed this life April 27th, 1913. Aged 43 yrs and 1 day. He united with the United Brethern Church at Lime City about ten years ago and since then although his affliction was great his faith was ever strong. Nearly 16 yrs ago an affliction came upon him which baffled all medical skill and since then his strength has been gradualy failing. Before his affliction he was strong and rugged. He was very quiet and not given to many acquaintances but once aquainted he was ever favorably remembered. The funeral was held at the old home place about 3 miles east of Rochester. Conducted by Ernest L. Gregory, pastor of the Friends church, Springdale, assisted by Rev. Harper Kreiser of Lime City U. B. Church. Internment at Rochester cemetery.
