She will be always remembered as a devoted wife, a beloved mother and an amazing greandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Lilburn Billy France and Mary Louise Smith and her husband Charles E. Stinnett, Sr. She is survived by her children , Charles Edward Stinnett, Jr and wife Kathy; daughter Stephani; Elizabeth Myrene Stinnett Stanley (NC) and husband Ricky; daughter Jessica; stepchildren: Heather, Ashley, and Benjamin; Michael Steven Stinnett and wife Alexie; children Cheryl, Michael, Tracy; stepchildren Alyssa and Michael; John Garland Stinnett II (Deceased) ; daughter Rachel; Grady Eugene Stinnett; children Christopher and Cameron (WA), Cheyenne, Dalton; stepdaughter Destiny; brother-in-law Conley Buford Stinnett (NC); sister-in-law Kathryn Stinnett Howard (MA); several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren, all of whom were very special to her but too many in number to list. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 East Simpson Road, Knoxville, TN 37920. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Highland South Funeral Home with entombment to immediately follow at Highland South Memorial Park.
