Wesley Isaac Hensley, age 25 of New Market, passed onward to his Heavenly Home Friday, February 17, 2012.
Known simply to his family and friends as Isaac, he exemplified many exceptional qualities. One of the greatest qualities Isaac possessed was his fearlessness to be himself no matter the circumstances. In fact, Isaac’s genuine spirit will be one of the things missed most by all who have spent time growing up with him over the years. Those who knew him best know he had an infectious energy and was never without a smile, a kind word or an ear to listen to one’s problems when needed.
As with anyone who was fearless in being oneself, some of Isaac’s notable adventures include annual trips with his father to watch the Dallas Cowboys play, traveling across the country to watch the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, as well as taking trips to the University of Tennessee with his beloved grandparents to see both the football and basketball Volunteers compete.
While being a sports enthusiast was one of his passions, Isaac was also incredibly fond of animals and was never shy of voicing his political beliefs. Some of the things he enjoyed most were attending concerts with friends, dancing and collecting video games. Although these were some of the things he was most passionate about, Isaac had numerous other interests and possessed a wealth of knowledge on a wide variety of topics.
Though Isaac had a great love of these things, he had an even greater love for his family and friends who will carry the memories, stories and the times they have shared with him for years to come. His life and memory will undoubtedly be preserved and carried on by everyone who took the time to know him. This is especially true for those who were part of Sevier County High School’s 2004 graduating class and those who graduated with him from Walters State Community College. Isaac also served proudly as a member of the Highlands Union Bank family, primarily at the Veterans Boulevard location.
Though he will be missed more than words can describe, his friends and family are assured peace as Isaac celebrates a Heavenly Reunion with God, Christ, and the family that has passed before him including his grandmother, Carolyn Hensley and his great grandparents.
Isaac is survived by many friends and family including his Mother: Candice L. Hensley, Father: Wes Hensley, Grandparents: Charles and Twinkle Duvall, Laverne and David Cline, and Ralph Hensley, Aunts and Uncles: Kelli and Keith Huffaker, Eddie and Beverly Hensley, Tommy and Sherry Hensley, Amanda Hensley, John and Jennifer Brown, and Tim Brown, Cousins: Jessica and Dustin Brown, Brittany Hensley, T.C. Hensley, Samantha and Casey Cooper, and Justin Arnold Special Friends: Brandon Barnes and fiancé Emelee Snow, Matt Willis, Barbara Herron, Carll Duryea, and Justin Robinson,.
