Graveside rites for Ida May Ridenour, 98, were held at Tipton Masonic cemetery Oct. 8 with the Rev. Joseph P. Hines officiating. Miss Ridenour died at Cedar Manor Oct. 5. The daughter of Cornelius Alvin and Anna Barclay Ridenour, she was born near Tipton Nov. 28, 1883. She recieved her education in the Cedar County rural schools. She made her home with Mr. and Mrs Guy Wright, McVille, until 1974, when she entered Cedar Manor. Miss Ridenour is survived by a sister, Mrs Helen Lage Davenport, several nieces, including Mrs Don Wehde, Tipton and a nephew. She was proceded in death by 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
