U.S. Veteran Charles L. Hutsell, age 81 of Maryville, went to a homecoming celebration in heaven on Saturday December 13, 2008. Charles was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company and a World War II veteran. He also had many other jobs through the years to include a ranger at Royal Oaks Golf Course, a policeman, a restaurant owner, an ambulance driver, a school bus driver, and embalmer, and a fishing flymaker. In later years he loved to go to church at both the Lord’s Disciples Church of Whosoever Will and Faithway Fellowship in Jesus name. Preceded in death by parents, Edith and Lee Hutsell; sister and brother in law, Aileen and Shorty Buler; brother, Bill Hutsell; father in law Guy Sparks; brother in law David Sparks. He is survived by wife of 22 years, Judy Hutsell; mother in law, Bernice Sparks; brother and sister in law, Jim and Ruby Hutsell; sister and brother in law, Sue and Don Powell; sisters in law, Grace hutsell and Karen Jakabowski; sons and daughters in law, Dan and Peggy Hutsell, David and Judy Hutsell; daughters and sons in law, Donna and Glynn West, Diane and Dwanyne Alexander, Deena Haile; step daughter, Monica Brown; adopted son, Daniel Hutsell; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be held 8:00 PM Wednesday December 17, 2008 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Bill White officiating. Interment service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
