David Brooks Spencer, Jr., age 44 of Knoxville, TN, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010. He was employed by Covenant Health Systems as materials manager of Fort Loudon Medical Center. He enjoyed spending time with his fiancée and her family and his niece and nephews. David was a huge UT fan and enjoyed playing golf, throwing darts, and fishing. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and beloved son, fiancé, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend with a huge heart who will be missed forever.
He was preceded in death by his father David Brooks Spencer.
Survivors include his:
Fiancée: Pam Lewis;
Mother and stepfather: Dottie and John Clabough of Dandridge;
Sisters and brothers-in-law: Linda and Logan Hall of Sevierville, Melissa and Bill Harper of Gatlinburg;
Niece and nephews: Megan Kilgore, Justin Kilgore both of Sevierville, and Gavin Harper of Gatlinburg;
Aunts and uncles: Debbie and Pat Nichols of Evans, GA, Linda and Butch Rodgerson of Dunn Loring, VA, Betty Puckett and Joe Verant of Warrenville, SC, James and Rose Puckett of New Ellington, SC;
And a host of cousins, friends, and his work family at Covenant Health

The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday with funeral service beginning at 7 PM in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Rowland Buck officiating. Family and friends will meet 2 PM Sunday in Atchley’s Seymour Memory Gardens for graveside service and interment.
