She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John Richard Sissum ; children, Richard (Yogi) and Linda Sissum of Seymour, Jack Sissum , Kay and Bill Bales, all of Louisville, Ron Sissum of Maryville, and Wayne and Jean Sissum of Gates; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Thursday March 26, 2009, at Zion Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Clarence Byrd officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2009, at Sherwood Mausoleum for entombment service. The Family will receive friends at 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Zion Chapel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund.
