Leitson, Elizabeth Parkhill, age 53, of South Knoxville, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009 at her home. She was a member of Church Street United Methodist Church and a graduate of South High School. She was an exchange student after high school and studied in Norway. While in Norway, she learned Danish and Swedish, as well as the old and new Norwegian languages. She attended Maryville College and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in linguistics. She also studied at Trier University in Trier, Germany as an exchange student. Survivors She is survived by parents, T.M. and Grace Free Parkhill; brother, Tom Parkhill III, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. Service Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery for graveside services, Rev. Cabel Trent and Dr. Andy Ferguson officiating. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
