Paul David McMahan, 82, died May 11, 2011, in Greenville, North Carolina. He was born November 15, 1928, to the late J. C. and Alice McMahan. Mr. McMahan served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a charter member of Brook Valley Country Club and was an avid golfer for over 60 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Ella Dorsey McMahan; daughter Dianne McMahan Hucks and husband Scott of Greenville; sister Ollie Henson of High Point; brothers Ray McMahan of Burlington and Clifton McMahan of Greenville; special nieces Joyce Satterfield and June Wyrick and husband Gary, all of Greenville; beloved pet Dolly; and numerous nieces and nephews in High Point. The family will receive friends Friday, May 13, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home, Greenville, NC. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross Blood Services, 700 Cromwell Drive, Greenville, NC 27858.
