Thomas Roy Kemp, 71, of Oklahoma City passed away January 4, 2014. He was born September 6, 1942 to Albert and Ethelyne Kemp.
Tom attended Capitol Hill High School and enlisted in the US Army where he wa stationed in Huntsville, AL.; where his mission was troubleshooting the guidance system on the Nike Missiles. After the service he worked at Honeywell in the Quality Control Department. He then changed careers and went to barber school, which was a career he totally enjoyed. Tom loved nature, motorcycles, fishing, camping, junk stores, people and life in general. He will be missed by many people.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Beverly of Ardmore, OK; parents, Albert and Pat Kemp of Oklahoma City; son, Curtis Kemp of Florida; one daughter, Terri Ann Cribben of Dallas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchildren; one sister, Judy Ensz and husband Jeff of Newcastle; one brother, Larry Kemp and wife Pat of Oklahoma City; and many nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Moore. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, OK.
