Our world was forever changed when we lost a sweetheart in our family by the name of Alicia Marie Gillick, 31, of Newport, TN, She was born December 10, 1981 in Rockford, Il. We lost Alicia when she lost her battle with pneumonia on December 8, 2013 in Knoxville, TN. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ula Maples and Carson Breeden, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Dan Gillick of Newport, TN; parents, Marica Breeden of Chana, Il and Anthony (Shirley) Breeden, Sr., of Hartford, TN; brothers, Anthony (April) Breeden, Jr., Tim ( (Lindsey) Breeden, both of Oregon, Il, Jeremy Breeden of Hartford, TN; step-sister, Charlene (Juddy) Ford, Hartford, Tn; brothers-in-law, Kevin (Kari) Gillick, Sunnyland, Illinois, and Timm (Emilie) Gillick, Peoria, Illinois, and her maternal grandparents, Irene and Raymond Hays; and paternal step-grandmother, Anita Frisbee. Other surviving family members include her aunts, Beverly (Rodney) Derkson, Cheryl (Ramsey) Derkson, Veronica (Mark) Grossman, Bloss (Joe) Lee, Mary Jo Phoenix and Judy Newman; uncles, Jim (Geri) Maples, Sam (Linda) Smith, Ike (Steph) Breeden and Terry Breeden; nephews and nieces, Anthony, Sierra and Alexis Breeden, Timothy Jr., and Mason Breeden, Jonah and Nolan Gillick and Asher Gillick. Our awesome Alicia left us, far to soon and we will miss her everyday. She was a very determined woman with a heart of gold. She often put those qualities to use everyday to try and better the lives of people around her. We as a family know how much she loved us, and we know she knew how much we all loved her, and with that love we hope that she may know be truly happy and be joined by her Heavenly Father. Rest in Peace Alicia, and Goodnight Sweetheart. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 10, 2013, with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm at First Church of God, with Pastor Larry Welsh officiating.
