May 5, 1939 - April 5, 2018 Johnny Houston Flanagin, age 78, of Cussetta, Alabama, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018. He was a faithful Christian man, loving and devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Victor and Sevina Alice Flanagin; and beloved sister, Margaret Mounger. Johnny is survived by the love of his life and wife of 59 years, Joyce Flanagin; children, Deniece Harris, Greg Flanagin, and Alecia Flanagin; grandchildren, Johnathan Harris, Ashley Flanagin, Matthew Flanagin, Christian Smallen, and Stacy Flanagin-Parker; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12pm-1pm Saturday, April 14th with the funeral service to follow at 1pm in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel. The graveside service will follow at Highland South Memorial Park. Rev. Conny Kelly will be officiating. Arrangements provided by Atchley’s Seymour Chapel, 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN.
