Mrs. Minnie Ridenour was brought back to Tipton last Saturday and laid to rest. She passed away May 20, following a stroke. Deeply religious, she was always interested in the work and activities of the church. She was a school teacher in the schools of Cedar county. The respect for her as an individual was attested by the large assemblage at the services at Rochester Church. She was the widow of John L. Ridenour who died in 1934. She was the mother of four children, two of whom proceded her in death. Following interment in the family lot in Rochester, those present returned to partake of a lunch prepared by the ladies of the church.
