SNYDER, HELEN LORENE "RENE" -age 80, of Knoxville, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, May 5, 2005. Lorene was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and was retired from Palm Beach Clothing. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Sally Lane brothers, Horace, Haskel, Jackie and Bill Lane sisters, Margaret Smith and Maude Fisher. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Walter E. Snyder son, Tony E. Snyder daughter-in-law, Paula and 3 grandchildren, Chelsie, Devin and Dillon. She also leaves behind one sister, Imogene and brother-in-law, Clyde Pike brother, J.M. Lane and sister-in-law, Ruth brothers-in-law, R.C. Fisher and Herman Smith many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to St. Mary's Hospice for the special care they gave her and to special neighbors, Shannon Landenburg and the Demp Maples family. Family and friends will meet at Pollard Cemetery on Monday for 11 AM graveside services, Rev. Eddie Kitts officiating. Pallbearers will be John and Johnny Lane, Cliff Maples, Clyde Pike, Bobby Landenberg and Jimmy Currence. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be mailed to the Ridgeway Baptist Church Building Fund c/o to Rev. Eddie Kitts, 723 Kimberlin Heights, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920.
