She was a member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church and preceded in death by her husband George W. Dile. Survived by her children, Linda Brown of Knoxville, Vernon Byrd Jr. and wife Ada of Lake City, TN., and Steve Hicks and wife Julia of Knoxville grandchildren Jeff Nichols, Scott Brown, Michelle Hicks, and Stephanie Sherwood 4 great-grandchildren and special friends Lisa and Jared Taylor of Nashville, TN. Family and friends will meet at the main entrance of Greenwood Cemetery at 12:45 P.M. Monday, for a 1:00 P.M. graveside service with Rev. Clyde Lakin officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Knoxville Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union. Rose Mortuary Broadway.
