BAILEY, KENNETH WILLIAM - age 63, of Strawberry Plains went to his heavenly home on Friday, August 24, 2007. Preceded in death by: his parents James & Carol Dean Bailey and sister Viola (Bible) Archer; also preceded by mother-in-law, MiMi Dile. Survived by: wife of 43 years, Margie (Dile) Bailey; sons, Tim Bailey of Florida and Kenny Bailey of Strawberry Plains; daughters, Karen Marcum, Kim P. Wrinkle and Kelly Kennedy all of Strawberry Plains; also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank and Benny Bailey of Knoxville; and sisters Mary Wade and Margarete Leek of Strawberry Plains. Ken was a member of Sunset Heights Baptist Church where he was an honorary deacon. He was retired from Asarco Company after 35 years of service. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 26, 2007 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the chapel of Evergreen Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Evergreen Funeral Home. Rev. Burl Covington & Rev. Ronnie Leek will be officiating. Immediately following the service family & friends will go in procession to Thorn grove Cemetery for the interment. Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy., Knoxville, (865-637-7955) is honored to serve the family of Kenneth William Bailey.
