THRASHER, PHILIP DEWAYNE - age 54, a resident of Knoxville, died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville. Mr. Thrasher was born on the 28th day of February, 1956 in Alabama. He has lived in Tennessee since early childhood. He was employed as a manager of both convenience and grocery stores. Philip was a single engine airplane pilot and he also enjoyed scuba diving. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle Thrasher and Lillie Mae Bradford Thrasher and by brothers, Gene and Thomas Thrasher. He is survived by his wife, Linda Breeden Bridges Thrasher of Knoxville; by daughters, Kelly and Paige Thrasher of Chattanooga; by step-children, Jonathan Bridges and wife Melody of Knoxville, Joseph Bridges and wife Cassie of Oliver Springs, Becky Koski and husband Michael of Oliver Springs and Christopher Bridges of Knoxville. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jacob, Jonah, Jordan, Austin and Tyler Bridges and Micah and Noah Koski. The family will receive friends Friday, November 12, 2010 between the hours of 6:00 and 7:00 at the House Of The Lord Church, 3606 Blount Avenue, Knoxville, TN. The services will follow at 7:00 pm in the church with Pastor Roy Kelley officiating. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. An online guest book is available at www.sharpfh.com
